In the early 1960’s a man by the name of Buckminster Fuller was known for designing geodesic domes, a structure that struck a chord with the countercultural movement of the sixties. He was among many titles a designer, architect, inventor, poet, philosopher, engineer, and author. Fuller urged people to think globally and act conscientiously to better mankind though a ‘design revolution’. 
His legacy has inspired artist, engineers and thinkers around the world & in turn with others coined the term:
DROP CITY
Fed up with the conventions of galleries and sought for a way to integrate art with everyday life. One of the first rural communities and the first to be based on artistic practice.
